I'm a Canadian student interested in applying to American dental schools such as Meharry. I recall hearing that during the interview, international students are asked to provide a financial certificate to show sufficient funds to pay for the tuition. I tried calling a few schools but I either couldn't get a hold of the admissions office or I wasn't able to receive a clear answer.
I plan on taking out a student line of credit to pay for my tuition but I wouldn't be able to do this until I have a letter of acceptance.
Is it true that the schools require a financial certificate? Does anyone have any experience with this?
